Dr. Mamta Sidhu

 

Mamta holds a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology obtained from the UK. During the course of her training, and since completion, she has held a number of positions as a Forensic Psychologist working in varied settings. Mamta has experience of completing forensic risk assessments, clinical formulations, 1:1 and group interventions.

 

Mamta has facilitated a number of intensive intervention programs such as a 6-month Cognitive Behavior Therapy Substance Use group and a 12-month Mentalisation Based Therapy group. Additionally, Mamta has completed stage 1 of EMDR therapy for Trauma and works within a trauma-informed framework. She has worked collaboratively with clients on a range of clinical issues also, ranging from depression and anxiety, to trauma and personality difficulties. Mamta is also experienced in writing reports, both end of therapy and for the purpose of the Court.
