Administrative Assistant

Salary: $55 - $65k
Permanent full time

Busy CBD based; friendly Clinical and Forensic Psychology practice is looking for an exceptional, full time Administration Assistant / Front Desk team member. 

 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing exceptional customer services to our clients, referrers, staff and clinicians
  • Answering phones and looking after incoming emails
  • Liaising with health funds, Medicare, DVA, referrers, clients and service providers
  • Co-ordinating practice diary
  • Scheduling, confirming and billing appointments
  • Processing bulk billing and DVA claims
  • Handling confidential client documentation
  • Filing, archiving, data entry and other clerical duties as required
  • Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00.
 
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Previous medical practice experience
  • Exceptional computer skills with ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Experience working with a variety of different work styles and personalities
  • Highly professional, proactive and sensitive to people’s needs
  • Meticulous in nature and taking pride in providing a high level of work standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive client information
  • Work well under pressure and in a team
  • Great time management and prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable working around forensic clients
  • Experience in Front Desk, Genie Solutions, Best Practice, or Medical Director are highly regarded

Human Services Project Assistant

Salary: $60 – $65k inc. superannuation, depending on experience

Friendly CBD Clinical and Forensic Psychology practice is looking for a full time Human Services Project Assistant to manage the administrative and operational demands of contracts between our practice and external agencies.


Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating internally and externally with stakeholders and contract suppliers to ensure we are meeting contractual goals
  • Collecting detailed information for reporting purposes
  • Maintaining reporting schedules and requirements
  • Scheduling appointments for internal and external clinicians
  • Undertake quality checks according to contract requirements
  • Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining databases
  • Making bookings for services as required
  • Co-ordinating document flow, storage, and management
  • Preparing and distributing invoices for services provided
  • Supporting the company in administration duties as needed
  • Supporting the company’s management as required
  • Assistance in strategic planning
  • Hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00
  • Work from home offer: 2 days per week

Seeking Two Psychologists

Salary: TBC

LSC Psychology is a practice based in Sydney’s CBD, specialising in clinical and forensic issues. We are seeking psychologists to join our team who have experience in both treatment and assessment. Ideally, the psychologists would both be experienced in writing reports. One clinician should be experienced working with forensic populations, and specialist experience, for example with sex offenders, will be viewed favourably. Ideally, they would do gaol visits for assessments, in addition to working in our office to conduct assessments and to also engage in treatment. The other clinician should be experienced with children and families, ideally with a background in developmental trauma and / or experienced in Family Law disputes. Initially, the psychologists could expect to work two days per week, but this would likely expand quickly.

Essential Criteria

  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
  • Endorsement or eligibility for endorsement as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist
  • At least two years’ experience working with either forensic or family populations
  • Full registration with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
  • Current Working With Children’s Check
  • National Criminal Record Check
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance

  • Ability to work within a team
