Beth is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and is a Member with the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Beth is also a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (MACPA) and the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ANZATSA).
Beth has extensive experience providing psychological assessment and treatment services to individuals, as well as children and families, specifically in the child protection and out-of-home care sector. Beth has been an approved psychologist and provider of independent psychological assessment and intervention services in the child protection sector for several years, and is an accredited Therapeutic Life Story Work practitioner.
Beth has worked with government and non-government organisations in NSW, VIC, the ACT and the NT, and has experience across urban, regional and remote contexts. She is experienced in conducting specific and/or complex therapeutic and/or clinical assessments and interventions and has undertaken clinical and practice leadership roles for several years. Beth has experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and their communities in NSW and the Northern Territory. Beth has also maintained a private practice for several years, providing assessment and treatment of mental health concerns with children, young people, and adults in the community as a Clinical Psychologist.
Beth’s specialist knowledge encompasses trauma, family and interpersonal violence, sexualised behavours, child development, attachment and bonding, grief and loss, behavioural assessment, and risk assessment. Beth also has experience in training, coaching and leading other clinicians working with children and families to understand and respond to care and protection issues, trauma, and managing emotional and behavioural wellbeing.
At LSC Psychology, Beth conducts clinical and forensic assessment services in both our child and family and forensic teams, and also offers treatment services. Beth provides expert opinion and evidence to support decision-making.
