Biography

Andrea is a registered Psychologist pursuing endorsement in clinical psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia. She’s been employed in multidisciplinary hospital, educational, and private practice settings, with a focus on forensic mental health assessment and comprehensive clinical/psychoeducational assessments. She routinely writes forensic reports for pre-sentencing and Section 14 referrals, with training in the actuarial and structured professional judgement approaches to risk assessment. She is also experienced in individual intervention for a variety of clinical presentations, particularly including substance use difficulties and offending behaviours, with training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and drawing from Schema Therapy principles. She also has experience adapting treatment for clients with diverse learning needs and neurodiverse clients, and practice from a trauma-informed lens.
