Biography

Robyn is a Psychologist with a special interest in relationships, in emotions, and emotion regulation. Committed to evidence-based practice, she is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), Australian and New Zealand Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ANZATSA), and is accredited as an associate with the Office of the Children’s Guardian Child Sex Offender Counsellor Accreditation Scheme (CSOCAS) to work with adults.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate.

Primarily, her experience has been in the not-for-profit sector, working as a Psychologist, family counsellor, and family dispute resolution practitioner. This work included co-facilitation of a community-based child sex offender treatment group from 2012 to 2016. She also has experience working with both children and adults suffering from mental illness and adjustment issues in private, public health, and research settings. Following completion of her doctoral program, she worked on several university and government research projects.
